Xbox Drops Game Pass Prices
Digest more
We've got even more Xbox Game Pass news to bring your way today! Following yesterday's price reduction for Game Pass Ultimate, Xbox boss Asha Sharma has teased a new partnership with Game Pass and Discord.
Microsoft announced a significant price-drop for Xbox Game Pass yesterday, reducing the price for the Ultimate tier from $30 to $23, with the catch that the package would no longer include any day-one Call of Duty releases.
There is one giant tradeoff here: new Call of Duty games will no longer be available on Game Pass Ultimate or PC Game Pass on day one. They’ll eventually hit those tiers about a year later, during the following holiday season. That means Call of Duty titles will be the only first-party Xbox games that don’t hit Game Pass on their release date.
Game Pass Ultimate's lower price is a win for players, but don't get used to it.
New titles, including Kiln, Vampire Crawlers, and Aphelion, are becoming available to xbox Game Pass subscribers.
