Dehd are a three-piece band out of Chicago comprising bassist and frontwoman Emily Kempf, guitarist Jason Balla and drummer Eric McGrady. In July 2020, the band released "Flowers of Devotion," their third full-length release that comes just a year after their preceding album, "Water." In September of 2020, the members of Dehd gathered in a Chicago studio to record these performances of three songs from "Flowers of Devotion" exclusively for The Current. Chicago-bred Dehd first visited FUV back in 2022, and they returned to the Bronx for a new FUV Live session this spring, promoting their latest album, 'Poetry.'
