One of the absolute tragedies of the environmental movement is that it’s become basically synonymous with really disruptive protests. When most people think of climate activist, they don’t think about solutions oriented people, who are advocating for common sense solutions, like federal permitting reform. Instead, they typically picture someone being destructive, disruptive, or just plain a backwards ideologue. The reason clean energy projects aren’t being built isn’t because no one cares about
