Making problems to solve… aka woodworking. In this case, the problem is making 3’ long pallet wood strips into 15’ long strips to cover the entire length of my kayak. The solution is scarf joints with this simple little jig I made for my table saw. The 3’ strips are glued together with thickened epoxy at these joints, sanded, and then I can start stripping my boat!
