When spring rolls around, the wolf care team begins the arduous task of spring cleaning within the enclosure. After a long winter, there are always many fun surprises hidden underneath the layers of snow. This includes many layers of wet or icy hay that has accumulated. We enlist the help of volunteer groups, such as Outward Bound, or classes from Minnesota North College. For the ambassador wolves, spring is when they lose their winter undercoat.
