Do you know the tradition behind the Official #SHSU Ring? The night before the ring ceremony, each class ring spends the night at the Sam Houston Memorial Museum in Sam Houston's home. After Juniors and Seniors receive their ring, they wear it with the school name facing them. Upon receiving their degree at Commencement, graduates turn the ring with the name facing outward, symbolozing their SHSU knowledge out into the world.
