Flashdance introduced much of mainstream America to the new dance style taking over the clubs in New York - breakdancing. The film featured this scene where Jennifer Beals comes across some kids dancing in the street. Those kids - Crazy Legs, Ken Swift, Frosty Freeze and Mr. Freeze - are all members of a pioneering dance team called “Rock Steady Crew.” And they blew minds. That scene is probably tied with the bra scene for bringing people back to the theater, amazed at what they had just seen. �
